I've been a regular at Growlers since about 6 months after they opened. The vibe is always welcoming, impeccable taste in laid back music, and the beer list top notch - an ever changing list of 10 taps with something for everyone, and that's before you get to the two well stocked fridges. Oh, and it has also acquired a reputation for being a specialist rum bar - usually at least 15 interesting ones to choose from. A visit is like hanging out in the owner's front room - Max and Charlie are great hosts, and very knowledgeable about their beer and rum selection. Great find. 6x taps rotating some of the best beer around and fridges stocked with a much wider range of bottles and cans. Wine, spirits and alcohol free beer also on offer. Extra seating / small events space available downstairs. Knowledgable owners, and dog friendly!
What a place. An absolute gem of a venue. We had the most amazing evening there. Lovely room in the basement (the den) that we had all to our selves. We even had control of the music. Got food delivered and drank the night away. Thank you so much

What a little gem this place is. Super friendly owners/staff who made me feel really welcome. An awesome collection of craft beers from all over the UK to choose from. The place is bijou but that's all part of its charm. Highly recommended. Will be returning for sure.
Max and Charlie simply run the coolest bar with super-chilled jazz tunes on the vinyl decks, a friendly crowd and an excellent selection of craft beer on tap. We've always had great evenings, discovering a few tunes or bands to check out later. They also have non-alcoholic beer on tap! (Max, Paul Hollywood is your friend )
